Aikido Goshinkai Annual Seminar 2017

Tweed Heads South Sports Club – 4 Minjungbal Drive, Tweed Heads South, NSW 2486
        19th, 20th and 21st August 2017

To all Instructors and Students,

I hope 2017 is treating you, your families and students well.

I wish to announce the dates for the upcoming Aikido Goshinkai Annual Seminar on the19th, 20th, and 21st of August 2017.  This year the Annual Seminar will again be held at the Tweed Heads Sports Club Auditorium.  This venue is not the Aikido Goshinkai Tweed Heads Dojo, but is part of the same complex and very suitable.

The Tweed Heads Sports Club Auditorium will allow greater access to all facilities, including the Coolangatta and Brisbane Airports and also for visits on a daily basis for the Goshinkai dojos members as a whole.

One of the most important aspects of training at our national seminars is to remain open to new concepts and to adapt to new ways of doing things.

This ability to accept change is far more important than comparing differences between instructors or between the old way and the new.

Seminars provide us with the opportunity to renew our techniques by laying to rest the familiar, comfortable way we are used to doing things. There is a saying that “the enthusiasm of the beginner is the envy of the master”. Seminars give us all the chance to experience that state called “beginner’s mind”.

To maintain the standard in Aikido Goshinkai it is essential to attend the annual seminars.
